The Pro V2 is the workhorse and the one most people should buy: proven, well priced and the cannon the detailing community treats as the comparison standard. The Pro V3 is the premium option with a stainless steel body, swappable 1.1mm, 1.25mm and 1.35mm orifices and a 1.2L bottle with a bayonet fit and valved vent holes so it does not dribble if it tips over. The S V3.0 sits between them. All three need the correct adaptor for your machine.
Which adaptor do I need for my MJJC foam cannon?
The adaptor is chosen by the fitting on your trigger gun, not by the hose. We stock MJJC adaptors for Karcher HD, M22 Kranzle, Nilfisk quick release including Kranzle D12, Nilfisk Kew and Alto, Gerni and newer Nilfisk, Lavor, Black and Decker, and the universal 1/4 inch quick release. Karcher K-series domestic machines use the bayonet connector on the gun. If you tell us your exact model we will confirm which adaptor to add.
Why is my foam thin and watery?
Usually dilution or orifice size rather than the cannon. Fill the bottle with warm water first, add snow foam to the ratio the maker states, then top up so the mixture is properly blended before you connect it. If your machine has a lower flow rate, a smaller orifice raises the foam thickness; the Pro V3 lets you swap between 1.1mm, 1.25mm and 1.35mm to tune this. Also check the filter and pickup tube are clear, since a blocked filter starves the mix.
Is thicker foam actually better at cleaning?
No, and this is worth knowing before you chase shaving-cream foam. Very thick dry foam looks impressive but drains quickly as a surfactant carrier, and a slightly wetter foam that clings and stays wet on the panel does more of the actual cleaning during a pre-wash. Use thick foam when you want dwell on vertical panels in warm weather, and dial the mix wetter when the aim is genuine dirt removal rather than photographs.
Can I buy replacement bottles and caps separately?
Yes. We stock spare bottles and spare caps for both the Pro and the S V3.0 models, which is usually all that is needed when a cannon starts leaking or a thread gets cross-tightened. Note that the original bottle issued with the V3 Pro was recalled and current stock ships with the reinforced opaque bottle, so if you are running an early V3 Pro bottle it is worth replacing it rather than persevering.
